Blue mage spells can be learned with certain monsters, through quests, or by purchasing totems from npc after completed certain conditions. For learn a spell, it is necessary to let the monster cast it once without interrupting it, then you can kill the monster and see if you succeeded to learn it. It is not necessary to take the malus effects of the attack, the simple fact of being in combat against it is sufficient.
eorzeaworld.comBeastmaster is an ancient art, practiced across the corners of Eorzea by those who have chosen to make wild creatures their battle companions. Each beast has its own spells, its own territories — and that's exactly what you'll find here. This list compiles every wild creature available for taming: their location on the map, the coordinates to track them down, and the spells they wield that you'll be able to use in combat.
